Infectious DiseasesCT images of a cat receiving treatment for mycobacterium microti infection

We are keen to see cats with suspected or known infectious disease and have long held a special interest in this area. We have developed many tests for infectious disease called Quantitative PCR tests, which help vets worldwide to manage specific infectious diseases.  For example haemotropic mycoplasmas, organisms that can cause anaemia in cats, can not only be detected in the blood, but also quantified by PCR, to help with effective management of the infection.

We are also world leaders in research into Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and are happy to advise or see suspected cases to try and achieve a diagnosis.

The images show a CT of a cat being treated for mycobacterium microti infection.
