Due to the Spring bank holiday, Clostridium estertheticum samples will be processed on the 28th and 29th of May for the week commencing the 25th.
Your sample(s) must be received before 9.30am on Tuesday or Thursday to be included in that day's run.
Please note, during the Covid-19 pandemic we are working hard to continue to offer our Clostridium estertheticum testing service. However, to comply with government guidelines, results from samples received on a Tuesday will now be available on a Wednesday morning and for those received on a Thursday it will be Friday morning.
We can provide plastic Freepost envelopes, and/or a printable Freepost label. These provide 1st class postage within the UK (including Northern Ireland). Whichever method you use, the address to send your samples to is:
The plastic Freepost envelopes will take around 30 standard tube swabs, or the whole plastic envelope can be taped to another envelope (padded for preference). The Freepost envelopes and labels will allow you to send packages up to 460mm x 460mm x 610mm (18" x 18" x 24") with a weight up to 6kg.
If you would like some Freepost envelopes, please email Christine.Hayes@bristol.ac.uk or enter a request in the 'Additional information' section on the form below. In either case please supply the name of the person and the postal address to which they should be sent. If you prefer to send your samples by recorded delivery i.e. signed for, you can still use the Freepost service and pay just £1.10 to convert the package to recorded delivery.
