    RVN

Donna gained her National and Higher National Diplomas in Animal Management straight out of school. She then went on to work for a few years as a Zoo Keeper, with an interest mainly in big cats and birds.

She moved to a first opinion/orthopaedic referral practice in Exeter in 2007, which allowed her to work closely with several charities including the RSPCA, PDSA, Dogs trust and Cats Protection. In 2011 she qualified as an RVN.

Donna started working at Langford Vets in December 2013 with the opportunity to sample our surgical, ICU and medicine departments before settling into canine medicine. She enjoys looking after the endoscopes and being able to share her knowledge through teaching.

    RVN

I started my nursing career right here at LV in 2013 as an Animal Care Assistant in Canine Medicine! Since leaving in 2016, I qualified as an RVN in 2018 whilst working in a busy first opinion practice. I then moved onto a small branch practice where I was a sole nurse. I worked part time for Royal Canin as a nutritional advisor whilst still in practice where I developed an interest in nutrition. I also worked as Head Nurse for a busy mixed practice before going full circle and coming back to LV as a Ninja! In my free time, I enjoy riding my pony, Elsa, walking my Pug, Spud, and renovating my house.

Outside of her professional life, Abi loves to travel and explore new destinations. She also enjoys spending quality time with her beloved cat, Buddha, whose playful nature always keeps her on her toes!
