    Rhianna is a rotating intern who graduated from Harper Adams University in 2025. She enjoys theatre nursing, including taking part in surgeries, and has a special interest in exotics after adopting her hamster Gandalf. She’s looking forward to gaining more experience in different areas of the hospital during her internship. She’s originally from Suffolk but is enjoying life in Bristol with her new cat Bluebell.

    Alice graduated from the University of Lisbon in 2018. Early on in her career she developed an interest in cardiology, and after 18 months of general practice work, she followed her heart down the path of specialization. Alice completed rotating and cardiology internships before embarking on an ECVIM-CA Residency Programme with Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists, which she finished in the Summer of 2025. Her special interests include feline cardiomyopathies and minimally invasive cardiac interventions.

    Sarah is trained as a Veterinary Physiotherapist and has specialised in small animal veterinary rehabilitation. She has been working as a human physiotherapist for over 20 years and gained her MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2019 from Hartpury College, University West of England, whilst working at the Hospital for Small Animals, Edinburgh University, Scotland. Her Master’s thesis was a study demonstrating the benefits of physiotherapy on dogs with elbow dysplasia.

    Sarah has also worked at Bath Veterinary Referrals, Highcroft Veterinary Referrals in Bristol, in private practice, as well as at local General Practice Vets, where she has a wide variety of experience of working in physiotherapy and hydrotherapy with post-operative small animals including knee, hip, shoulder, spinal, hock and carpus surgery, amputee, as well as chronic and complex cases including multi joint osteoarthritis and neurological weakness.

    Background work experience includes working in research at a University, where Sarah is interested in canine rehabilitation research, as well orthopaedics and how canine post-operative rehabilitation can be developed.

    Sophie graduated from Cardiff University in 2020 with a degree in Physiotherapy. She worked in Musculoskeletal outpatients while undertaking her MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy and graduated from Hartpury University in 2023. Since 2023 she has worked in a Small Animal referral centre in South Wales specialising in canine sports medicine. She has worked with a wide case of agility dogs both at the referral centre and previously at her own clinic. Sophie has an interest in Sports Medicine, Neurology as well as feline and exotic patients and is looking forward to developing her neurorehabilitation and pain management here at Langford.
