Poppy graduated in 2020 from the University of the West of England, with a MSc in Advanced Wildlife Conservation in Practice. Her studies took her to Honduras and Costa Rica, where she focused on disease spread and diagnostics in amphibians. After working six years in the hospitality sector she is now starting her career in the MDU at Langford Vets.

After gaining a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences in 1988, Sharon commenced work at Bristol Royal Infirmary and qualified as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer in Microbiology a year later.

During her 10 years there the laboratory was taken over by the Public Health Laboratory Service (now Health Protection Agency) and so Sharon was able to widen her experience which included several research projects.

Sharon moved to Langford in 2000 to begin her present role in Microbiology where she has gained further research expertise as well as helping develop the diagnostic microbiology service.

Francine previously worked at a GP surgery in Portishead for seven years and as part of her role undertook a number of HR tasks, this was an area she really enjoyed and she is looking forward to developing those skills and working with everyone here at Langford.

Megan joined Langford Vets in November 2024 as an HR Administrator. With a strong background in administration and marketing, she is excited to apply her existing skills in this new role while also developing fresh expertise. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her young family, travelling, and exploring the outdoors.
