Gemma joined the admin team at Langford in 2004, after gaining her first class honours degree in Textile Design. She quickly established herself as the "go to" person for many a veterinary research project and ensured that customer focus was always key.
Gemma spent 14 years working in our fast paced Small Animal Referral Hospital before making the leap to the marketing team in 2018. She spent two years as Marketing Executive ensuring consistency across all visuals and communications using the Langford Vets Brand. Followed by two years as Junior Marketing Manager, responsible for the day to day management of the Marketing Team and workload. Gemma takes on the new challenge of Marketing Manager in July 2023, her knowledge of the business as a whole enables her to support all of Langford Vets five business areas and showcase the outstanding capabilities of each. Gemma completed CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing in 2022, gaining a distinction for her efforts.

She is driven and curious to find best practice solutions to problems whilst continually assessing risk, and offering a professional, personable and proactive approach. She has worked in a variety of HR leadership roles for; Milk Link, Yankee Candle and Pieminister. Outside of work she enjoys, travelling and spending time with her family.

Sara has worked as a Veterinary Nurse and College lecturer for over 30 years, specialising in British wildlife care, managing various UK Wildlife charities. She has lectured student Veterinary nurses and animal care students at Merrist Wood and Cannington College, over the years.
She has joined as the Business Relationship Manager after her recent role as an account manager for a Veterinary imaging company, covering the South and South West of the UK. Her role at Langford will be to provide a liaison with all Veterinary Practices referring to Langford Vets.

Darran joined Langford Vets, as Operations and Compliance Administrator, in June 2017. He previously worked at North Somerset Council, for over 20 years, undertaking a variety of administrative and business support roles in event management, tourism, committee administration, complaints, freedom of information requests and data protection compliance.
In his spare time Darran enjoys playing golf, watching sports and films, and looking after his cats.
