Testimonials

Current Intern Holly and Resident in Small Animal Medicine Josh have both been through the Intern programme:

"As a current intern I have found this year at Langford Vets really rewarding. The whole team are welcoming, as well as keen to teach and support the interns. As interns we get some case responsibility and through this, I have had opportunities to practice arthrocentesis, arterial blood gas sampling, CSF sampling, epidural placement, bronchoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. We have protected time for seminars to help us consolidate understanding of specific topics and have plenty of opportunities to discuss cases with the specialists. This year has given me the necessary tools for the next step in my career and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to gain further knowledge and skills in small animal practice."

Josh Hardwick"My time as an intern at Langford Vets was a fantastic and highly valuable experience. It gave me great preparation for furthering my career as a specialist, and for working in a large multi-disciplinary referral hospital. It was a privilege to work alongside and learn from so many residents and specialists across the different disciplines, and really helped re-affirm my decision to pursue specialisation in small animal internal medicine. It was also amazing to be surrounded by my brilliant co-interns, and during my intern year I forged friendships that will last a lifetime. I would thoroughly and unreservedly recommend an intern position at Langford Vets to anyone who is hoping to pursue a career in specialist practice."
