Nutrition in dogs and puppies

Various pet foods are available and if purchased from a UK supplier must meet minimum safety and nutritional standards. We recommend feeding an age appropriate complete dog food. Food can be formulated as a wet (tins or pouches) or dry (biscuit type pellets). Both wet, dry foods or a combination are suitable if the label states “Complete and balanced”.

Premium pet foods may contain additives that support optimal health. We are happy to discuss food options during your appointment with our vets or nurses.

The practice offers special prices on pet food as well as TLC members receiving 10% purchases made in practice and a reward scheme.
