Interested in this role?
We are delighted to inform you that we are now recruiting for our 2026-2027 Veterinary Nursing Rotating Internship cohort.
The nursing internship programme is aimed at working with newly-qualified nurses to develop their day one and referral nursing skills. We recommend this programme for nurses up to 3 years qualified who would like more experience in a referral setting.
Nursing interns rotate around our Small Animal Referral Hospital on a dedicated timetable, gaining confidence in a variety of nursing skills. Nurses also benefit from regular off clinic time, where they will be supported to undertake individual project work, such as clinical audits.
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate a high standard of nursing care, a desire to learn and a capability to work under pressure. They will be involved with teaching and supervision of Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing undergraduates on clinical rotations. Flexibility will be necessary as the post will require participation in the OOH rota, including twilight and night work.
