Ashleigh graduated from Bristol University with a degree in Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Sciences and joined the Langford Small Animal Referral Hospital as Surgery and Neurology Ward Nurse in 2014. She enjoys spending time bonding with patients to be better able to treat them as individuals and encourage their recovery. She studied for the BSAVA Surgical Nursing Merit (2018) and then the Nurses Certificate in Surgical Nursing (2019) and has developed a strong interest in improving patient care within the hospital.

In 2018 she went on to become a Core Surgery Nurse providing more dedicated support to both the Surgical Ward and more specifically to the Soft Tissue service. This included being involved in helping to develop and run the BOAS Clinic, offering valuable support to owners and their pets.
