Natalie graduated from the University of Liverpool, completed her PhD at the Royal Veterinary College researching chronic kidney disease (CKD) in cats and undertook her specialist clinical training at Bristol Veterinary School. Natalie is a European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Specialist in Feline Medicine. Natalie has an international reputation in the field of veterinary nephrology and has been awarded the International Renal Interest Society award in recognition of her contribution to advancement of this field. Natalie is also one of only a few vets to be awarded a prestigious Wellcome trust Fellowship. Natalie’s clinical research interests include renal filtration function, CKD, the endothelial glycocalyx and diabetic nephropathy.
