By car

M5 Motorway Southbound

From the M5 Motorway Southbound, exit at Junction 21, taking the A370 signposted to Bristol. At the Congresbury traffic lights (The Congresbury Arms) turn right at the first set of traffic lights and follow the B3133 signposted Cheddar and Churchill. Langford Veterinary Services is about 3 miles on the left, after the mushroom farm.

If you are travelling from the M5 Motorway Southbound with a large horse box and wish to avoid narrow roads we recommend the following route;

Exit the M5 at junction 18 (signposted A4/Avonmouth/Bristol (W)/Airport). Take the Portway/A4 for 5.5 miles. After passing under the Clifton Suspension Bridge continue right onto Brunel Way. Keep right to continue on A370 for 1 mile until you reach a roundabout. Take the 1^st exit onto A4174. At the next roundabout take the 3^rdexit onto A38. Stay on the A38, pass the airport, after about 10 mins you will see signs to Upper Langford, ignore those, until the next junction, taking a right turn at the Budgens Petrol station. Take a left at the mini roundabout onto the B3313 to Congresbury. Langford Vets is about 0.3 miles on the right.

M5 Motorway Northbound

From the M5 Motorway Northbound exit at Junction 22, taking the A38 to Bristol Airport. Pass through Churchill village and turn left towards the B3133 signposted Lower Langford and Congresbury. Take the first exit left onto the B3133. Langford Veterinary Services is about 0.3 miles on the right.

From Bristol city centre cross the Cumberland basin, and leave Bristol, heading south on the A370. After the dual carriageway take the left, signposted Barrow Gurney. Travel through the village of Barrow Gurney and take a right at the traffic lights onto the A38 towards Bristol Airport. Stay on the A38, pass the airport, after about 10 mins you will see signs to Upper Langford, ignore those, until the next junction, taking a right turn at the Budgens Petrol station. Take a left at the mini roundabout onto the B3313 to Congresbury. Langford Veterinary Services is about 0.3 miles on the right.

Travel by rail

Our nearest local station is at Yatton. There is a regular service from Bristol Temple Meads. From Yatton station it would be a 10-15 minute taxi journey to Langford Vets, although please allow up to 30 minutes during rush hour.

Travel by bus

We are lucky enough to have a bus stop at our main gate. There is an hourly bus service which links us with Bristol Airport, Yatton and Congresbury. Where possible it will link with the X1 fast bus service to Bristol.

There is another bus service which departs from Bristol Bus Station, although services are limited. The nearest stop on the A38 is near Budgens. From there, walk towards the next mini roundabout, taking the left turn on the B3313 towards Congresbury. Langford Vets is the first driveway on the right.
