About the Role
Langford Vets are delighted to invite applications to an exciting opportunity within our medicine team.
This full time, 12-month, fixed-term role, available from April 2025, is ideally suited to residency-trained candidates who are preparing to sit their specialist board exams; early career diplomates would also be considered.
The main focus of this role is primary case responsibility and is intended to support the provision of a dynamic and flexible medicine service, for new external referrals, and internal case transfers, alongside the wider medicine team.
You will participate in the delivery of an exceptional standard of clinical care, working within our current team of medicine and critical care specialists and residents, alongside other specialties within the Small Animal Referral Hospital. This role primarily provides the opportunity for supported independent development within a collaborative team, alongside which you are expected to deliver high quality clinical teaching to undergraduate veterinary and veterinary nursing students. There may also be the possibility, where appropriate, for selected supervision of our medicine residents and interns.
The successful candidate is expected to sit their board exams during the position, unless already obtained.
Informal enquiries should be sent to Jenny Reeve (Clinical Lead in Internal Medicine) at jenny.reeve@bristol.ac.uk.
