You must hold a veterinary qualification recognised by the RCVS that allows you to practise veterinary medicine within the UK. ECVIM or ACVIM Diplomates as well as candidates studying towards an ECVIM or ACVIM diploma are encouraged to apply.

You will participate in the delivery of a high-quality clinical service in small animal internal medicine with 8 specialists and 6 senior clinical training scholars on an ECVIM approved residency programme. You will also be expected to deliver high quality clinical teaching and practical instruction of undergraduate veterinary and veterinary nursing students and to senior and junior clinical training scholars.

As part of a multi-disciplinary referral hospital there is daily contact with a huge array of diplomates across all areas, we also benefit from a close relationship with our specialist imagers, soft tissue surgeons and critical care team who help us to excel in what we do by providing the support to complement our skills.

This is a full-time position for a fixed term of 12 months. Salary is competitive and the appointee will be eligible for a range of additional benefits including a generous company pension scheme, 8 weeks study leave ahead of examinations, a study allowance, employee discount scheme and 5 weeks holiday in addition to Bank Holidays.
