Join our brilliant surgical team and work in our cutting-edge theatres. Langford Vets are part of the University of Bristol Vet School. Langford Vets is now ten years old and proudly lives by its mission “at the forefront of discovery, at the heart of animal care”. We have the largest team of American, European and RCVS Specialists in the South West, offering a truly multi-disciplinary referral service. Our surgical team encompasses seven ECVS specialists, one staff clinician and five senior clinical training scholars on an ECVS approved residency programme, as well as highly trained nurses, specialist anaesthetists, imagers, medics and criticalists. You will always have support when you need it and you’ll be part of a passionate team who are pushing the boundaries to be the very best they can be. Our hospital runs a continuous improvement policy where we are constantly evaluating and learning to provide the very best in patient care, customer experience and working environment. Our links with the University mean that research and teaching will be part of your world.

Our small animal hospital is located in the beautiful Somerset countryside, whilst being close to the vibrant city of Bristol allowing the opportunity for a country or city lifestyle. We have an on-site gym, CPD allowance, pension scheme and the usual staff perks on site as well as an informal community of runners, cyclists and lots of other interests.

You must hold a veterinary qualification recognised by the RCVS that allows you to practice veterinary medicine within the UK. Candidates who hold an RCVS, ECVS or ACVS diploma in small animal surgery (soft tissue) are encouraged to apply.
