Langford Vets are pleased to offer a none conforming residency position in Veterinary Behaviour in a programme approved by the American College of Veterinary Behavior (ACVB) or the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM). You will be part of a strong and supportive Behaviour team, working with other specialties within the truly multidisciplinary small animal referral hospital.
The programme will include clinical training at the highest level, dedicated journal clubs and teaching time, and ample research opportunities. You will primarily be involved in clinical work and are expected to study for the Specialist Diploma in Behaviour.
Other duties include teaching veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing students and clinical research and supervising rotations. In addition, you will be expected to present a research abstract at an international meeting and submit work for publication as the first author during the programme. Applicants must have worked in general practice and ideally undertaken a rotating internship before being considered and have demonstrated a passion for veterinary Behaviour.
