We are looking for a vet to join our team, someone who is looking to develop and share their skills with the next generation of vets.

This is a part-time position with hours being mostly worked over the weekend (daytime hours only).  Our practice is currently open on a Saturday, but we are building our team with the intention of expanding our service to include Sunday opening in the future.  With no OOH, our vets get plenty of time away from work to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area.

We care about our team and offer a comprehensive package including BUPA, generous pension contribution etc.  We require the successful applicant to have a very good level of consulting and surgical confidence in all aspects of first opinion case management as on occasion they will be the sole vet.   We are a teaching practice and have responsibility for facilitating learning in a clinical environment, whilst maintaining excellent patient and client care.  Our vets are responsible for supervising and helping final year vet students working alongside our team in the clinic.   The practice is part of Langford Vets which encourages a community spirit and great learning opportunities.

We offer a generous pension scheme, 5 weeks holiday per year plus Bank Holidays, Bupa Benefit, Enhanced maternity pay, CPD, employee discounts of up to 50%, free onsite parking, free eye test voucher and annual flu vaccinations.

Closing date is: Wednesday 31st August
