Veronica qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2003, having previously graduated in Biology from the University of Oxford. She completed an equine internship at The Royal Veterinary College, followed by a residency in equine medicine at the University of Liverpool. She then spent 2 1/2 years in Sweden as Head of Equine Medicine at a large referral hospital.
She is a Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine.
Veronica's clinical interests are in all aspects of equine medicine but in particular headshaking. Her research is also into headshaking, funded by the British Neuropathological Society, The Langford Trust for Animal Health and Welfare and BOVA UK Ltd, working in conjunction with Algotec Research and Development UK Ltd.
