Jade Sutherland

Jade previously worked in a small animal first opinion practice for six years where she qualified as a registered Veterinary Nurse in January 2017.

During this time Jade developed a strong interest in feline medicine and behaviour, and decided to make the move into a referral environment to become a feline-specific nurse.

She enjoys working in the feline department due to the wide varity of cases from all over the hospital.

Outside of nursing Jade spends her time reading, keeping active, and looking after her own pets, Harley the bouncy spaniel and Poosh the cat.

Dr Pip Lait BSc(Hons) PhD

After graduating from Cardiff University with a first class degree in Genetics in 2001, I spent 3 years working alongside Dr Chris Helps investigating feline upper respiratory tract infections in the early years of the Molecular Diagnostic Unit. The strong foundation in molecular biology gained during this time led me to complete a PhD in Molecular Immunology in 2009 at Bristol Vet School.
