Langford Vets is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Bristol. The company was formed to ensure that the client-based activities of the Vet School could be managed in a professional and sustainable manner to meet all its customers' needs.
The creation of Langford Vets has allowed direct investment in buildings, equipment and staff in the clinical facilities. We offer first-class, multi-disciplinary, friendly first opinion and referral services to clients. Veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse students receive gold standard teaching, in state of the art facilities while gaining an understanding of the commercial pressures in the real world.
By choosing us you are not only choosing outstanding, competitively priced care for your clients, but you are investing in the profession for decades to come.
We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete a questionnaire about your experience referring a patient to the Small Animal Hospital. Your feedback is important to us and allows us to continually improve the service we provide to referring veterinary surgeons, clients and patients.
All completed surveys will be entered into a monthly prize draw to win £50 of M&S vouchers (if you wish to enter).
However we can claim direct from all insurance companies when necessary, and where a pre-authorisation has been agreed with our finance department. In some cases we are able to offer short term interest free payment plans to uninsured owners, or those exceeding their insurance cover. If you are considering referring a client that you think would need these services, we would ask that you contact us prior to referral either by email or by phoning the small animal hospital reception, so that we can organise this for your client.
If you would like a copy of our hospital estimates please contact us. We do routinely provide estimates for clients when referrals are organised however.
The RSA Preferred Referral Network launched Nationwide on 16 December 2015. Langford Vets' Small Animal Referral Hospital is on the Network list. For more information visit the RSA website.
