Vim graduated from the University of Bristol in 2005. He has had a very keen interest in ophthalmology since he was 17! Vim worked in first opinion practice, for two of the largest practices in Bristol, for several years, including some periods in locum positions across the South West of England. He achieved his RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2012 and was designated as a RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2015. He worked as an ophthalmologist for a well-known private veterinary referral hospital in Bristol for many years before moving on to another referral centre in Swindon for 13 months. Vim is interested in all areas of ophthalmology, across all species. He has a particular interest in feline ophthalmology and is involved in researching corneal graft surgery in cats. He is fascinated by wildlife and exotics species ophthalmology, having worked in exotics species practice and carried out conservation work abroad.
Vim is happy and proud to be back at Langford after all these years and started his ECVO residency in Veterinary Ophthalmology in August 2019.
