Nicolas graduated from the University of Liege, Belgium in 2007. He then undertook two years of rotational internship in small animal practice at the veterinary school of Nantes, France and at the University of Liege, Belgium. In 2011, He completed a 1-year surgical internship at Michigan State University, USA. He came back to Europe the next year to work as a research associate at the laboratory for veterinary orthopaedic research at the University of Liege, Belgium. He worked mainly on mechanical testing of surgical techniques for cranial cruciate ligament disease. In 2012, he has been enrolled in a residency in small animal surgery at the University of Liege and he passed his final exam in 2016 to become a specialist in small animal surgery. He joined Langford Vets in October 2016
His clinical interests include all aspects of veterinary orthopaedics however he particularly enjoys the management of complex fractures, arthroscopy, stifle surgery and joint replacement.
