Primrose Trust Hydrotherapy Unit

The Primrose Trust Hydrotherapy Unit at Langford is the newest centre to open in the area. Our building has been internally redesigned to offer a full range of hydrotherapy treatments using the Hot Spa, Water Walker and Jet Pool.

We are now members of The Canine Hydrotherapy Association!

What is hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is a non-weight bearing activity; this means your pet is able to exercise without the stresses & strains on their joints, plus the soothing warm water increases & improves circulation. This makes it perfect for the older dog that is experiencing arthritis, conditioning for endurance competitions and those who are recovering from operations or injuries that affect their mobility.

What do I do next?

With the safety of your dog paramount, please seek the advice of your vet first as we need to be sure he/she is in a good state of health to undergo hydrotherapy treatment. Once your vet has referred your dog to us we will arrange an introductory session with you, where we will assess your dog & set up a structured rehabilitation program for him/her. We will give your vet regular updates on your dogs progress.

All appointments must be made in advance & will be booked through the Small Animal Hospital, prices and referral forms available on request.
