Triple pelvic osteotomy

Hip dysplasia is a common condition affecting many medium size and large breed juvenile dogs. The disease is associated with soft tissue laxity of the hips that results in subluxation of the joints. Some affected dogs are candidates for surgical management of their condition. In some such cases Triple Pelvic Osteotomy (TPO) is performed in order to improve their hip joint function.
