Veronica graduated from Spain in 2009 and then spent four years working in several small animal practices and hospitals in the UK and Spain, with a strong focus on emergency care. During this time she developed a passion for neurology and visited many referral centres and hospitals in the UK to expand her knowledge.
Veronica then completed a one year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Glasgow University where she focused on neurology cases and she authored a paper on MRI abnormalities in dogs with portosystemic shunts. She also spent three months at the World Health Organization, in Geneva, helping in the development of Public Health guidelines.
Veronica joined Langford Veterinary Services in January 2015 as a resident in Neurology and Neurosurgery. She had a strong interest in spinal surgery and inflammatory diseases of the brain.
She has a five year old Shih Tzu called Elia.
