Lee graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2007 and, after a brief period working in a charity hospital, he completed a surgical internship at Northwest Surgeons in Cheshire followed by a rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC).
Lee achieved an MRes from the RVC followed by a PhD from the University of Bristol for his studies into the effect of ageing on bone mechanobiology, funded by the Wellcome Trust. Lee completed residency training in Small Animal Surgery at Bristol before taking up his current role as Staff Clinician in Small Animal Surgery. In February 2017, Lee became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Lee is interested in all aspects of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery but has a particular interest in thoracic surgery, emergency surgery and metabolic bone disease.
In his spare time Lee enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and their cat Freddie.
