Annelies graduated from Keele University in 2002 with a BSc(hons) in Physiotherapy. In 2007 she graduated with an MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy from the Royal Veterinary College, after which she continued to work part time in the NHS and became part of the team at Greyfriars Veterinary Rehabilitation and Referrals where she continued until 2014. During this time she also set up Applewood Physiotherapy Practice with another ACPAT Physiotherapist mainly treating Elite level Event and Dressage horses. She moved to Bristol in 2014 and continued to run small animal Veterinary Physiotherapy clinics at Chapel Farm Rehabilitation Centre.
In September 2016, Annelies joined the Rehabilitation team here at Langford Vets to develop the in and outpatient Physiotherapy service. She has a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation and the integration of Physiotherapy into the core clincal disciplines throughout the Hospitals.
Annelies is married to Tom who is a Medical officer in the Royal Navy and in her spare time she is kept very busy with two little girls and her German shorthaired pointer. She also enjoys cycling and sailing.
