NEW! Canine Remedial Massage

NEW! Canine Remedial Massage

We’re very pleased to announce we are now able to offer Canine Remedial Massage as part of our Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy service.

Our Canine Remedial Massage therapy can be beneficial alone or as part of a rehabilitation programme. Working with methods of petrissage, effleurage and tapotement (for atrophied areas), massage helps to speed up the healing process due the removal of lactic acid from tissues and improved circulation of oxygenated blood.

Cases that can benefit from massage include:

  • Neurological and surgical e.g. Intervertebral disc disease, hip dysplasia, CDRM, spondylosis
  • Dog that suffer with behavioural disorders and carry tension as a result
  • Sports dogs to maintain optimum levels of fitness, treat old injuries and stretch out tight muscles
  • Geriatric dogs with osteoarthritis.
