LVS IS ONE YEAR OLD
Langford Veterinary Services has reached its first birthday as a Company. Formed one year ago by the University of Bristol, and consisting of the Small Animal Referral Hospital, the Equine Referral Hospital, the Small Animal Practice, the Equine Practice, the Farm Animal Practice and the Diagnostic Laboratories, LVS was established to ensure that the veterinary clinical units of the University ran in a business like manner to allow for continued growth in caseload and to ensure a sustainable business to face the future challenges in the veterinary profession.
CEO Lynne Hill, says “ We are very pleased with the way that the Company has performed during its first year in the particularly difficult trading conditions which pervade at present. LVS has made progress in all areas and showed above average growth for the sector in most areas. We have been able to engage a number of new staff members who are adding greatly to the expertise and techniques we are able to offer to our clients.”
The Company has an emphasis on customer service and has spent and is continuing to spend time listening to its customers and clients to ensure that it can improve the ways in which it serves them.
Building will shortly be starting on a new surgery and diagnostic building which will greatly enhance the facilities on site.
