Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) can often provide invaluable information in localising and diagnosing spinal disease, as well as other conditions such as cruciate disease. The technique is quick and non-invasive and provides clinicians with very detailed information which can facilitate an accurate diagnosis and aid in the planning of surgical treatments.

This image shows a single degenerate intervertebral disc and the spinal cord in ‘cross section’.
