Lynn Bryne, VN Level 4 IDM Cert SM TDLB D32/33
Lynn has worked at Langford for 23 years, initially as Farm Animal, Equine and Small Animal referral nurse, she then moved to Head Nurse post in the Small Animal Hopspital when the new hospital was built and more recently became our Support Services Manager.
Rebecca Bevan, Dip AVN (surg) RVN
Rebecca is our Senior Surgical Nurse, she has been working for Langford Veterinary School since September 2000. She gained her surgical nursing diploma in January 2004. Her job role includes the management of the nursing team and the surgery building, assisting with surgical procedures and the post-operative care of patients. She is also involved with the teaching of Veterinary and Veterinary nursing undergraduates.
Her interests outside of work include photography and getting out in the fresh air as much as possible - usually cycling or walking with her Golden Retriever, Seth.

Alison Sweeting, RVN A1 ICM level 3 MBVNA
Ali manages the referral long stay kennel block, nursing and caring for canine and feline patients and resident cats.
Outside interests are keeping her family and animals under control! Singing in a band (Langford Stranglers) and horse-riding when she gets the opportunity! Ali has a terrier X called Skippy, a cat called Alan, a horse called Omar and four chickens called Mildred, Chole, Freckie and Doris! Her two children are under 6 years old.
Rebecca Giles, VN Cert SAN D32/D33
Started 1993 (15years) Employed as referral nurse in medicine and surgery, more recently been working as med nurse only, now Stock control officer.
Fiona Passmore, VN D32/D33 V1
Fiona is our dedictaed dermatology nurse. Fiona is highly experienced in many areas of veterinary nursing and is responsible for management of our dermatology work-up facilities, equipment and our allergy vaccine service.
Hayley Kilbane, DipAVN(surg) RVN D32/33
Hayley is a surgical nurse, before joining Langford, she worked at local practice in Weston-S-Mare where she gained her Veterinary Nursing and D32/33 assessor qualifications. In 2003 she joined the surgical nursing team and in 2006 gained a Diploma in advanced surgical nursing. She is a RCVS examiner and her job role involves her with teaching the Veterinary undergraduates and Student Veterinary nurses.
Hayley’s interests outside of the theatre are dog grooming and horse riding.
Suzanne Rudd, Dip AVN Med RVN
Suzanne worked in a small animal practice in Nottingham where she qualified as a veterinary nurse from the Berkshire College of Agriculture in 1999. In 2002 she moved to work here at The Feline Centre where she cares for cats with both medical and surgical problems. During her time at The Feline Centre she has gained her diploma in advanced medical nursing and has worked alongside the Feline Advisory Bureau teaching qualified Veterinary Nurses from around the U.K advanced feline nursing skills. Suzanne is also involved in teaching both our veterinary and veterinary nursing undergraduates and is now senior nurse in our internal medicine department.
At home Suzanne has a gorgeous blue Abyssinian called Wizard and likes to keep active by participating in a variety of keep fit classes as well as singing in a band.

Started at Langford 1990 (18 years) Worked in Kennels, surgery and latterly as Medicine nurse. Now is radiography nurse.

Vicky Ford-Fennah, BSc VNPA
Started 2006 after completing her VN degree here at Langford, Vicky is employed as our anaesthesia nurse.
Sarah Collins, DipAVN (Medical) RVN VTS(ECC) CertSAN D32/33 MBVNA
Sarah qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1995 and has been our dedicated intensive care unit nurse since 2003, caring for the patients which require the highest level of care. Sarah is one of only three veterinary nurses in the UK to hold the American veterinary technician specialist qualification in emergency and critical care. At home, Sarah owns a cat, a rabbit and a tortoise who all live happily together. Outside of work Sarah enjoys tending to her garden and allotment.
Amy Homer, RVN
Amy is a medical referral vet nurse, assisting with medical inpatient care, aiding with procedures including endoscopy, xrays, ultrasound, etc. She is based within canine and feline medicine. Away from work she has a cat and a German Shepherd, she enjoys reading, painting, and also volunteering for German Shepherd rescue carrying out home checks and dog assessments.

Teresa Labiak, NVQ level 2 Animal Care ANA
Teresa qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant 2007 and is now progressing on to train as a Veterinary Nurse starting September 2009. She currently works within the Small Animal Hospital, assisting Veterinary Nurses in the care of patients within the hospital, surgery and kennels. Teresa has 3 cats at home two Domestic Short Hairs and one very cheeky little Devon Rex, who keeps her on her toes! They are all very photogenic (photography being one of her passions).

Started in 2002 having previously worked in kennels and stables as a locum. Now works as a hospital technician predominantly in kennels.

Laura Gould
Laura is an Animal Care Assistant, she started at Langford in the Small Animal Hospital in 2008 assisting in surgery, medicine and kennels.
In her spare time she helps at a local dog rescue and pony rescue whilst competing her horses at national Level in BSJA and Side Saddle.

Working as a locum – assisting with technical duties within referral centre, care of patients etc.
