David Tisdall BVSc MRCVS
Lead Clinician
After qualifying from Bristol University in 2006, David spent a year in mixed practice in South Gloucestershire. In August 2007 he joined the practice as a resident, and took over the clinical lead in August 2009. His particular clinical interests are in dairy cattle production and fertility, he is currently studying for a RCVS certificate in cattle health and production, and has a research interest in the early detection and treatment of dairy cattle lameness. He is married to Catherine, and lives in Wrington with their 2 cats, horse and bearded dragon.
Shirley White
Practice Manager
Shirley has worked at the practice since before many of the staff were born! She is responsible for the administrative side of the practice and is the first point of contact for clients.
Bridget Heal
Part-time Receptionist / Financial Administrator
Bridget supports Shirley in the running of the practice and has responsibility for billing and finance.
Margit Groenevelt
After graduating from Utrecht University in January 2009, Margit worked in Ireland for nine months before joining the FAP. Her appointment at the vet school is 50% FAP and 50% in research on cattle lameness with Nick Bell. She will be alternating her research and FAP weeks. Her special interests are small ruminants and she hopes to start her residency in small ruminants soon. Besides life as a vet she likes horse riding and travelling.
