Welcome
We welcome referrals for all kinds of elective and emergency medical investigation and treatment. We are fully equipped to manage all types of cases, with facilities including both adult and foal intensive care units, endoscopy, gastroscopy, ultrasonography, echocardiography and ECG. We work alongside our on-site lab, staffed by recognised Specialists in pathology, to help us reach accurate diagnoses rapidly. A number of medical cases will require surgical intervention, for diagnosis and/or treatment. It is often a particular advantage for these cases that we have access to minimally invasive surgical techniques, which often do not require general anaesthesia and have a rapid recovery time. The medical and surgical teams work closely together to ensure the best possible care.
Particular interests are in headshaking, for which we are able to offer surgery to appropriate cases, neonatal intensive care, inflammatory bowel diseases and metabolic causes of laminitis. For further information please contact Veronica Roberts on 0117 928 9621
