Equine laser surgery

The diode laser is used for trans-endoscopic treatment of upper respiratory disorders in selected cases. This can be done in the conscious horse and leaves no external scar. In addition the diode laser can be a very effective treatment for cutaneous tumours and is increasingly used to ablate sarcoids and other lesions to complement the traditional treatments.
