We are a dynamic customer focussed business providing an extensive high quality range of laboratory tests.
We provide services to veterinary surgeons in general practice, as well as our own practices and referral hospitals (Small Animals, Equine and Farm Animals), so whatever type of practice you are, we can help.
We offer services in the disciplines of haematology, cytology, biochemistry, clinical microbiology (bacteriology, parasitology, feline virology and serology) and molecular diagnostics (PCR), so you can have a one stop shop in most cases.
Our clinical pathologists, research staff and skilled technical staff ensure we provide a high quality service.
We are a European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) approved training laboratory.
We participate in RIQAS Biochemistry, NEQAS Bacteriology and Haematology QA schemes.
All samples are received by our friendly and helpful office staff who will also be your point of contact for any queries.
If you are delivering urgent samples by hand, the office is located on the ground floor of the Churchill Building on the Langford site of the University of Bristol.
We provide FREEPOST envelopes for sample submission.
We provide Viral Transport Medium (VTM) for feline virus isolation samples.
A general submission form that covers the laboratory disciplines, and a single detailed price list are all available on our website. Printed submission forms are available on request.
Reporting of results
We will fax out all reports to your practice so you receive results promptly.
Clinical pathologists report all results and are available for consultation so you can be assured that the information you get is quality controlled and gives you information to help you with your cases.
We will send monthly invoices for all requested tests to help you track your costs.
