  • Echocardiography (including Doppler echocardiography) for the diagnosis of congenital and acquired cardiac diseases.
  • Standard 6-lead and special lead ECG recordings with interpretation by experienced clinicians.
  • 24-72 hour Holter ECG and Telemetry monitoring - particularly useful when investigating cases with episodic collapse or certain breeds prone to dysrhythmias (e.g. Boxers and Dobermanns).
  • Implantation and interrogation of "Reveal" event recorders for investigation of episodic collapse.
  • Pacemaker implantation.
  • Blood pressure analysis - Doppler, oscillometric, or direct techniques available.
  • Pericardiocentesis and balloon pericardectomy.
