The ACARUS laboratory
On 1st October 2011, Acarus became part of Langford Veterinary Services (LVS) Diagnostic Laboratories, which is a subsidiary of the University of Bristol; the high quality service and customer support that Acarus provides will continue as previously. Over the coming months, you may notice changes to the submission form and website, and invoices will be issued from LVS
The Acarus laboratory ("Acarus" is Latin for tick) was established by Sue Shaw in May 2000 at the University of Bristol's School of Veterinary Sciences.
