Welcome to the Small Animal Practice
Why come to us?
We are a dedicated first opinion small animal practice and maintain the ‘family feel’ for our patients and clients. Our staff have years of experience with pets and as a part of this we have the added advantage of access to the facilities and expertise of the Small Animal Hospital who offer a wide variety of specialist services. Our high standard of care is enhanced by the good relationship the practice has with the hospital and its consultants.
The practice is also fortunate in having access to Langford Diagnostic Laboratories, whose on site laboratory enables a rapid turn around on laboratory results.
Furthermore, we have specialists who evaluate our X-rays and ultrasound images, thereby providing you with an exceptional service.
About us
Langford Veterinary Services runs the practice to teach University of Bristol final year veterinary students and student veterinary nurses the skills required in general practice. Students always work under the supervision of our vets and qualified nurses. Consultation times may be slightly longer but in our experience clients enjoy being part of the learning process and being involved in the discussions and decision making with the veterinary students.
