This evening will comprise a lecture followed by some practical sessions - including gowning and gloving and a quiz on identification of surgical instruments

Angry, Blue, Broken – How to anaesthetise the cases you don’t want to.
This CPD evening will focus on an approach to canine and feline cases which are difficult to anaesthetise, either because of their temperament or ongoing disease processes. Special focus will be placed on aggressive dogs, upset cats, those with respiratory compromise and a range of systemic diseases.

Evening Bites - Emerging Diseases

An evening focusing on some emerging infectious diseases that are being increasingly seen in cats.
Mycobacterial diseases including TB will be covered as well as poxvirus and virulent calicivirus infections, with discussions to include zoonotic aspects and infection control so that you are confident in the handling of these cases in practice.
